Everything I Ordered From the Abercrombie Fourth of July Sale

I spent the final week of June getting ready for the Fourth of July sales.

This post is about everything I ordered from Abercrombie & Fitch. I also ordered from Nordstrom, American Eagle and Loft.

I love what Abercrombie is featuring lately. A lot of items are very feminine and a lot of items are very neutral. They have such a wide array of different options, that it was hard to choose from!

Ruffle Sleeve Poplin Midaxi Dress

I ordered this dress in a medium. I love the color and it fit well, but I didn’t like how long it was. Again, short girl problems here! I bet this dress would look lovely on anyone over 5’5″.

Off-The-Shoulder Puff Sleeve Mini Dress

I ordered a medium petite in this dress and it fit true to size. I liked that I could wear the sleeves up or down and the chest was fully covered with the empire waist detail. It wasn’t too short.

Seamless Fabric Cap Sleeve Tee

Seamless Fabric Cap Sleeve Tee

I ordered a medium in this top, but I felt like it was tight and I didn’t like the fabric. It was too stretchy across the chest and it only made it to my belly button in length for a tee. The fabric doesn’t hold anything in.

Flutter Sleeve Smocked Top

This top was just okay. The flutter sleeves are super cute, but I didn’t like the ruched fabric across the chest. It was too short, but would look okay when paired with high-rise shorts.

Flirty Crinkle Shorts

These shorts were just okay. They came as a set with a matching top, but it wasn’t in stock when I purchased. It also came in black. I think I would’ve liked the black better than this print in a matching set. I ordered a medium and they fit true to size.

Seamless Fabric Corset Squareneck Tank

I didn’t like this top for the same reasons at the cap sleeve tan top above. The fabric doesn’t hold anything in and it only came to the belly button for the length.

Ruffle Poplin Top

I returned this one, but only because the fabric under the arms had so much extra. The front of the chest looks fine, but it had too much on the sides. I love the ruffle sleeves because it gives it so much volume and the flow after the empire waist isn’t too much.

Ruched Bodice Puff Sleeve Mini Dress

I ordered this dress in a medium petite and it’s pretty cute. Except that my bra shows above the ruched bodice part of the dress. It didn’t cover where I think it should’ve been covered. The dress after the empire waist is great and the sleeves have so much volume. It was definitely made for a smaller chest in mind.

Cozy Sleep Tank

Cozy Sleep Tank

This top isn’t too bad. It was made of super soft fabric and hugged the body just fine. It was fairly short on the waist, but not as bad as the cap sleeve top above. If it’s a sleep tank, then it would be very comfortable for sleeping in!

Essential Scuba Tank

I did not like how tight this top is. I ordered a medium, but should’ve ordered a large. The stripes ended up wobbly across my chest and isn’t flattering. I’m also unsure how to wear this shirt because my bra straps can’t be hidden. I think I need some help there!
