Zack and I traveled to Duluth, Minnesota. My dad was born there, so I’ve visited many times before to see my grandparents. This is the first time I’ve driven without my parents.

Jay Cooke State Park

Jay Cooke State Park offers a variety of camping options, hiking, biking, and horse trails, and cross-country ski and snowmobile trails. It’s a lot of fun hiking the trails in the summer along the St. Louis River!

Oliver Bridge

The Oliver Bridge is above the St. Louis River between Duluth and the village of Oliver, Wisconsin. It’s a double-deck bridge made out of steel. Rail traffic travels above while the vehicle traffic uses the lower part of the bridge.

Walt Disney Pictures’ “Iron Will” was filmed in many parts of Duluth!
